Ex-Twitter boss Jack Dorsey is launching a "decentralized social network," Bluesky Social, which allegedly seeks to reclaim user data. It should be coming to the public "soon." A new protocol will integrate ideas from decentralized tech into an open network. Dorsey said it is a competitor to any company "trying to own the underlying fundamentals for social media," which includes Elon Musk-led Twitter.
