    I hear many, many camp directors ask for a simple step by step guide to what they should be sending families and prospects over the course of the year. Travis and Joanna's guide does the work for you. I would recommend all camp professionals snag a copy. For busy camp professionals, this takes away a lot of the guess work. It's like getting content from multiple conference sessions all in one book with way less cost - no hotels, car rentals, conference registration fees, etc....

    Highly recommend you look at their plans through a staffing lense as well - many of their ideas can be applied to staff engagement and recruiting with small tweaks.

    Summer Camp marketing is unique, sure the principles of marketing apply, but the execution is tricky to say the least. When do you email? How much communication is too much? Etc.

    This book does a great job of laying out exactly what to do and when to do it. It’s give plenty of ideas for how to improve reach and grow your program. Ignore at your own peril.

    I purchased this book as a material for an online marketing course Travis and Joanna are teaching. It has a lot of helpful tools that I really appreciate. I left four stars because it is a lot of information for someone who can only spend 15% of their time on marketing because of the many other things I juggle as a camp director. However, if your sole job was marketing, this would be a really great tool for you!

    People who run non-profit and private summer camps are busy, and one of the many impressive things about this wonderfully useful book is that is guides you step-by-step, month by month, with precise and simple moves that are practical, effective, and can be achieved in bite-size pieces so it is not overwhelming. And if you believe that "success is in the details" (I sure do), then you'll be really impressed with the creative touches and suggestions that are here on every page. The biggest plus is the way this content is presented--it's concise and it is presented with great graphics and visuals to make it easy to understand and remember. Highly recommended!
