What is the role of press releases in growing startups that are just starting and haven't found product/market fit? I would assume that's the stage most users here on IH find themselves in? Is there a component of GoingViral that can help with say, finding initial users?

    1. 2

So, my main focus when starting GoingViral is solving/helping marketing stuffs for startups, mostly like our IH here. Your questions are interesting, I will try my best to address it.

      1. The role of press releases: First and foremost, press release functions as an official announcement to the world for the launching of your product. If you just want to have a quick/light-weight approach as usual like using ProductHunt, AppSumo... you might not need a press release. But if you really one to push it further, like contacting with journalists, submit to startup directories... so I believe it's a MUST.
      2. How can we help: I can't type all the details, but one things inside all of our packages is helping customer create their Press-kit. A press kit is used as a pre-packaged promotional collection of documents that offers more details about a business, a group of people, or an organization. We want to make your brand narrative more visually appealing and interesting for the media as well as your target audience by putting it in a press kit. It consists of a collection of records, images, and other pertinent items that will aid in telling your story.

My reasons for not signing up are apparent: 1) Unable to access 2) Can't open it properly in my web browser... 😅 but I followed you here.

Can't answer anymore to your comment. Maybe we have reached the maximum depth of a thread. Let's talk it through outside IndieHacker if that makes sense to you. Do you have a Calendly or you may use mine: https://bit.ly/3CEA8DO?
