Google starts testing its new tech: Giant video booths for meetings

Google is working on a 'Project Starline' video booth idea to bring 3D video chat to life in a 7*7 foot sit-down booth. The booth features 14 cameras and 16 IR projectors to track and create a real-time, photorealistic 3D avatar of the user. Google's goal is to make it seem like the other person is in the room with you. So far, Salesforce, WeWork, and T-Mobile have signed up to try it out.
