9 Top Newsletters for Indie Hackers

I’m a bit of a newsletter junkie. Of course, Indie Hackers has several different newsletters that offer inspiring and informative content, but I wanted to highlight some others that are among my favorites. If you’re an indie hacker or entrepreneur, I think you’ll love these newsletters (listed in no particular order).

1. No-Code Exits

Katt Risen started the No-Code Exits newsletter after selling her first product created with no-code tools. Through the newsletter, Katt shares the stories of other makers and their exits. Many of these stories feature entrepreneurs who’ve achieved relatively quick builds and exits.

2. Founder Reports

Founder Reports is a project I’ve been working on with David Domzalski. We publish in-depth interviews with entrepreneurs, founders, and creators to share behind-the-scenes details about how they grew their businesses. If you enjoy inspiring stories with actionable takeaways, you’ll love Founder Reports. We also offer interviews and articles on other aspects of founder life, like mental health and work-life balance.

3. Growth in Reverse

Growth in Reverse is easily one of my favorite newsletters. Each week Chenell Basilio publishes an intense deep dive covering a newsletter creator. She covers the specific growth levers they used to build their business (with examples), the ways they make money and actionable takeaways you can apply to grow your own email list and business.

4. Flip My Site

Flip My Site is my newsletter where I publish content related to buying and selling websites and online businesses. Each week, the newsletter features an inspiring success story of someone who has grown and sold (or, in some cases, bought and grown) an online business. You can learn how to grow your own business and achieve a life-changing exit.

5. Creator Science

Creator Science is the popular newsletter by Jay Clouse. Jay publishes interviews and informative articles to help readers earn full-time income as creators. The Creator Crash Course free email course is an excellent starting point.

6. Media Maven

Every startup needs exposure. Media Maven is a newsletter run by PR professional Christina Nicholson. She shares practical tips and advice that can help any indie hacker gain valuable exposure with effective PR tactics.

7. Startups.fyi

Startups.fyi is a database or directory of startups and projects created by indie hackers. The quick-hitting email newsletter features a startup spotlight, which is a great way to find new projects and tools, and a roundup section with news and other interesting resources.

8. Insanely Cool Tools

Insanely Cool Tools is another directory or database of tools and startups. The newsletter simply highlights the latest resources that have been added, so it’s an easy way to find new tools each week.

9. Product Foundry

Bryan, the creator of Product Foundry, is a bootstrapper with significant experience. This newsletter for SaaS founders provides helpful articles while also showcasing the work of other founders.

What Are Your Favorites?

While all nine of these newsletters are excellent resources, I’m sure many others could have been included as well. Feel free to leave a comment and mention your favorite newsletters.
