Laid off tech workers are posting 'get-ready-with-me' TikToks

A TikTok user filmed himself opening an email that informed him he was one of 3,700 Twitter employees getting fired. He remarked it was his "first time being laid off, so I want to make sure I look good." Many tech workers are using the 'get-ready-with-me' format to post about being fired and how the current economy is affecting them. The 'GRWM to get laid off' hashtag now has 8.9M views.
