Hey, indie hackers 👋
Do you smoke? Did you try to quit?

I used to be a heavy smoker. I remember days I smoked up to 40 cigarettes per day. I was losing my health, I was miserable, tried almost everything and I was failing constantly.

We two MDs and smokers created this toolbox with our experience and scientific knowledge.

Our "Quit Smoking Toolbox" is launched on producthunt.
Today is World No Tobacco Day. with the toolbox, we aimed to raise awareness on making healthy choices.

Congrats on the launch Nazli! Just finished reading the toolbox and found it super relevant (ex/ smoker)

Question I’d love to ask - how does the efficacy of habit and educational based treatment like this (assuming patient adherence) compare to pharmacy based treatment ?

Super interested in this space and what you’re doing as most d2c health tech is focused on prescribing medication and then delivering on subscription basis.

      Thank you for your feedback!
Behavioral treatments in smoking addiction is found to be more effective preventing relapses in long-term , while nicotine-replacement therapies are more useful in short-term relief of nicotine withdrawal.
We want to make this experience as much personal as possible since we all function in different ways. There is a common saying in medicine: There is no disease but the patient!

We're so glad you enjoyed it.

I don't smoke but I could use this if I smoked and couldn't quit. I used a lot of things because I couldn't quit though. That would be one of them. Now I'm going to enjoy clean air. 😂 Congrats. 🚀

How about an app the helps you start smoking?
It gives you frequent reminders, manages big orders and finds boutique cigars for you etc.
