A Columbus, OH nightclub was issued a citation after nearly 500 people packed a Trey Songz concert with little regard for social distancing or mask usage.

“If you had taken that event and put it in 2019, it would have been pretty much the same concert, same event that was taking place last night.”
The nightclub had no qualms about advertising the event on social media with numerous posts encouraging followers to attend.
“This Saturday December 5th, Trey Songz Will be at the ALL NEW AFTERMATH!!! Doors open at 6pm,” one post said.
With COVID-19 cases continuing to surge across the country, Ticketmaster and Live Nation are entertaining the idea of requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result before attendees can enter an event.
Through the use of their mobile app, the ticket vendor is aiming to identify attendees who have either been vaccinated or tested negative for COVID-10 within 24 to 72 hours of entering the event.
A positive test or lack of vaccination would result in an attendee being denied entry. Ticketmaster says they would not store or have access to an individual’s medical records.
