Going live for only 2-3 viewers sounds like a waste of time? Think about it like this.

We are a small product team based in Prague and currently using our own streaming software to go live every Friday. We discuss the fun stuff of building digital products but also the challenges we faced that week, answer questions and generally just have fun and go on interesting tangents.

The streams generally only get like 3-4 viewers.

It's not the most structured content but it's quite fun and definitely very raw & authentic.

Which gives us the opportunity to repurpose the shit out of it after and make it powerful.

The moment you realize that you can turn 1 live stream into 8 different highlight clips for your LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube shorts or TikTok and 2 longer videos for your YouTube channel is the moment it all starts making sense.

Suddenly you don't mind not having that many viewers. You know that if you just do your thing, talk about interesting stuff, you will always have a shit ton of content to put out.

1 live stream can give you 10+ extra pieces of (video) content.

Just a simple mindset shift and it suddenly doesn't sound so bad, right?

It's always easier for me to do stuff I believe are important but they don't have the immediate results when I can clearly see the overarching synergies puzzling together.

Oh yeah, that helps for sure.

Even the top streamers and YouTubers started at zero.

I used to have that mentality before, but now, I feel like useless if my content didn't get enough viewers ☹

That's why repurposing it and keeping it alive is so good. Give it a try! :)

Love this mentality. Will definitely try this out soon🙏🙌

      Awesome, man!

It's actually kind of "liberating" in a way that you don't have to worry about the viewer count during the stream and get bummed out about it cause you know it will still be worth it.

Plus, if you market the shit out of those videos, they might turn into actual livestream viewers. And also, fun is fun :) I'm way more invested in something if I'm having fun so glad to see there are like minded people out there.

Exactly! Also having fun is so important for us to stay consistent and believe us that we tried waaaay too many formats :D
