A 6.4% slide in spending is expected, on top of a 4.2% drop in console game spending, which could see the game industry contract by 4.3%. Mobile gaming has been the industry's largest and fastest-growing sector for years. However, experts say inflation and a downturn in digital ads could bring about an unprecedented drop.
