Job Description

Rapchat is a fast-growing, venture-backed startup whose music-making apps are used by millions of artists around the world. As the Mobile User Acquisition Manager, you will focus on helping us build a best-in-class paid user acquisition program acquiring both free users and subscribers. You will play an instrumental role in building the marketing team that drives Rapchat's user growth and will immediately see the impact of your work and advance our mission of making music creation accessible to everyone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, explore, and prioritize new opportunities and strategies for Rapchat that will assist with scaling our acquisition and growth efforts sustainably
  • Manage a 6 figure advertising budget to run campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Apple Search Ads as you analyze, optimize and track the performance of campaigns that inform our messaging, targeting, and channel prioritization
  • Own app store optimization (ASO) and work cross-functionally to improve App/Play store performance across all geos while maintaining our very high brand standards and our global Apple Search Ads campaigns to drive growth and ROI
  • Manage our content calendar planning and develop ad briefs for our in-house and freelance creatives to iterate and develop new ads weekly
  • Track, measure, analyze, report & communicate campaign results using Tableau, Amplitude and other BI tools. Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to turn performance marketing data into meaningful insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry news and developments and proactively implement them in your daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in performance marketing / paid user acquisition for a mobile app
  • You feel confident dealing with a 6-digit monthly ads budget
  • Ability to ideate and develop different creative and messaging concepts to test
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, with the ability to articulate abstract creative concepts
  • You’re comfortable with numbers, statistics & analyzing large amounts of data to identify trends, optimize, forecast & make decisions
  • Experience or hobby in music creation is a big plus
