Your body will turn into a tree at these new green cemeteries

Transcend, a green burial startup, wants to plant bodies directly under trees so that trees get nutrients when the body decomposes. It is rethinking cemeteries to benefit nature, as traditional burials and cremation have a big environmental footprint. The tree burials will take place in forests near major US cities. Each tree will get a plaque, and relatives will be given its GPS coordinates.
