Hey Everyone!
I'm looking to build a landing page for my project and I'm not quite sure where to start. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to go about building a successful landing page. How much time should I devote to it? What are some essential elements to include? Any tips or tricks you've learned along the way would be greatly appreciated.
I'm also curious about what tools or resources others have found helpful when building a landing page. Do you have any favorites that you would recommend?
Thanks in advance for any advice or guidance you can offer. I'm excited to get started on this project and any help or guidance from the community would be greatly appreciated.

Best guide to landing pages I’ve ever seen.
Love this article! I've used it before and it's really helped me to get good conversions
I would recommend Carrd for building a landing page. This is also what I used for building a landing page for my product. Carrd has so many amazing and free landing page templates. You could just simply pick a template to start. I would also suggest to create attractive visuals and write persuasive copy that will convince people to take action.
PS: This is the landing page for our product. Free feel to check it out :)

Best practice to create good landing Page
Thanks for this question. Really good answers here and they are just what I needed!
Keep it simple and launch the most minimal version of the page. Talk to potential users and use the same words they use during the interview in your next iteration.
Yesterday I read really good post about landing pages here. It's from @IndieJames
Here is the article: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/validate-your-idea-with-a-landing-page-before-you-validate-your-product-917cce77e0
+1 - read the @IndieJames page to get a HUGE overview of everything you need to know about landing pages
Keep it short, keep it simple. I used to think longer landing pages were better because they were more expansive. But everyone has a short attention span nowadays. If you can't summarize everything about your product in a few sections, then shorten it.
Explain what your product does in the header. Don't tell me the benefits or how it works, tell me what it does and make it clear enough so I don't have any questions if I scroll down.
If you can't fit that in the header, then have more explanations in the next section. It is absolutely imperative that your users understand what the product IS before they see anything else.
This matters the most when you're starting out, beautifying can increase conversions, but if everything else is bad about your business, it'll do nothing to polish a turd so to speak.
I'll admit, it's not beautiful, and the newsletter sign up is off center. But you know what? Almost everyone that has joined my Discord doesn't have any questions about what the product does or confusion, because it was all answered on the website.
Btw, love your final space api and followed you to keep track. Here's my twitter for reference: https://twitter.com/TheRealEtch
This is super helpful
Thank you

From my design experience, I would recommend starting off with a banger hero. A good image or video which explains your product, together with an image. It should become clear within seconds what you are trying to convey. So ask yourself, what is my goal?
Test it with others - Show it to friends without telling them about the idea. Ask them what they think the purpose of the website is and only show them for a couple of seconds. If you designed it right they should be able to understand it within 2 seconds.
From that, I would start to add a call to action. This has to be clear, easy and precise. Think about the most popular websites on the web:
These websites all have one specific call to action. And it is repeated as much as possible. Visually it comes out. So ask yourself what goal you want to reach with a website.
I am currently going through this iterative process myself and I think the job is never done. Your product, target group or goals may evolve, and so will your website. This method has helped me reach my goals for my SaaS (https://www.qanda.design/). You'll see that as long as I am developing I will be questioning the website. And yes, it will change. A lot.
Here are some tips to help you build a successful landing page:
Define Your Goals - Decide what action you want people to take when they visit your website, such as signing up for a newsletter or downloading an ebook. That will give you the focus for the content of your landing page.
Keep it Simple - Focus on only one goal and create a simple, direct landing page with clear messaging that will lead users to convert.
Feature Interesting Visuals - Use visuals, such as videos and images, to attract more attention from visitors and increase engagement with the content.
Incorporate Relevant Content - Ensure that your landing page includes relevant information about products or services related to the goal of your page or business.
Have an Intuitive Design - Ensure that the layout of your landing page is straightforward to navigate so users can find what they’re looking for quickly and easily.
Offer Incentives - Try offering incentives like coupon codes or free trials/demos to entice visitors to take action on your website.
The best place to get feedback on your landing page is people who visit it, and some Reddit channels would be perfect for this. It would probably end up feeling like a roast :D but trust me, it would help build it to perfection.
Very thorough answer! I would add at the top of it, define your audience. We had a similar problem a couple of months ago - we were trying to speak to a very large audience. Unfortunately we are neither Google or Amazon. Since then we've defined our target user and every piece of content (landing page, blog, etc.) is made with him in mind. We even named him ("Javier") and have a poster on the wall reminding us of this! ajaja
HAHAHA :D
You are absolutely right @garom95! :D making an Ideal Customer Profile is very important, your strategy is on point.
Hahaha, I'll name mine too, and focus a bit more on him xD
Hi - I recently build a landing page for my agency business using bubble.io Pretty straightforward. Free templates are available which you can customise using drag & drop feature.
I see a lot of tools and tips thrown around. But without knowing more where your project currently is at, this is not too valuable.
Questions that will make give different anwers:
So you need to get people excited to “buy in” to your product. So some solid copy that really speaks to your target audience that explains how you solve a pain they have.
“people who like to to maintain or create job listings” does not cut it. Narrowing down your audience (future customers!) is important. How else are you going to find out where they hang out or speak “their language”?
Are there ways you can narrow this down? Maybe a specific industry? A specific role within companies?
Use whatever tool you're most comfortable with to build the landing page as you are super early still. Does not matter at all.
What does matter is that you write copy that sells (the “why”). This is pretty hard, but gets near impossible if you don't know who you are selling to. Spice the page up with some mockups that quickly tells hów you solve their pain point.
After collecting their email (congrats!), reach out personally, tell your story, invite them for a video call including a nice incentive and keep them updated regularly.
Note that email sign ups does not equal real customers.
The resources below will give you the copy and structure need for a high converting landing page (if you nail the positioning and understand the customer)

I recently built a landing page and here is my takeaway.
Put down your requirments.
Do you want to upload a video ? Do you want a signup form? Do you want to upload a gallery?
Before starting any work please check if that landing page will be compatibile on a mobile device. With convertkit, I made an entire landing page just to realise it looks pathetic on phone.
I went ahead with carrd.co which everybody was recommending. It gave me option to embed the video for free but did not give free sign up form option. I had to find another free form website and then link it on my landing page. It's just a hack but somehow worked.
All in all, I would recommend carrd.co because others are absolute shitty.
PS: This is my landing page and we are building AI powered plugin for gmail that will help you write professional emails within seconds. Do check it out

This is my twitter handle, would love to connect with everyone

The hero section is what will hook your viewers to the website. If you could tell me more about your project, I could give more specific ideas. A one-product e-commerce store for example will have the product itself in the hero section.
I recommend https://landingpage.fyi/landing-page-checklist.html. I discovered this site myself some time ago and it has helped me a lot when creating landing pages for my projects. I mostly build pages on Webflow, it requires some learning to do it well but gives you tons of possibilities.
Most of the website builder like Carrd, Dorik etc already have a lot of good landing page templates. I would suggest you to start picking a template from these platforms and build.
I am also building Flezr NoCode Builder primarily for Dynamic websites.
At the point when you are thinking about limited time things, you need to track down something that individuals will like, recall, and use. A limited time thing that establishes a decent connection with clients will establish a lot of connections of its own. One limited time thing that won't ever lose offer is the custom lanyard card holder.

What type of project is it? It would help us get a better idea of the landing page you need.
I've used carrd.co - has many good templates. Here's what I've created through it - salesforge.io
We have two products and the approach I like is to make landing as simple as possible and try to not make it boring at the same time with default design patterns.
The most complex part is how to describe which problem product solves in a simple, concise way and what is unique in your particular product.
Hey Ashutosh! How exciting to be working on your project - I understand it can be intimidating not knowing where to start. Shameless plug but I would love to invite you to check out G&E and connect with experts like Lukas who are experienced in landing page design and MVP launches. You can get on a complimentary consultation with him to get feedback on how to build your page!

Make sure to include the transformation your service or offer provides.
The formula is
[Product] helps [audience] with [problem] achieve [benefit] through [unique solution]
Also, if you don't have client testimonials yet, make sure to add a personal video letter to the sales page.
I like adding a demo to my landing pages. I recently built an API to identify whether text was written by a human or an AI (busterai.com)
These are some low-code/no-code platforms that come to my mind. You can check them out and choose accordingly.

3d Jewellery Design
3D jewelry design is the process of creating digital 3D models of jewelry pieces that can be used to create physical molds. The software used to create these models is usually CAD (Computer Aided Design) software, which allows the user to manipulate the shape and size of their jewelry pieces. 3D jewelry design is becoming increasingly popular as it allows for a much more precise and intricate design than traditional methods.

Thank you so much for this @NileshBhosale
I am a new user on this site and am unable to make any post. How are you guys able to do it? Any tips? I had a similar question as you.
Due to spam on posts you have to make a few posts (that aren't spam).
Engage in the comments and the community till you get verified. IH is a very high quality community so they don't let anyone make posts. You will get verified in 4-5 days
Getting everything rolling on building your picture online ID card printing can be a muddled interaction without the right counsel. There are many variables to consider and it can appear to be somewhat overpowering.
