Developer tips needed :)

Hi there! As a developer platform (https://apyhub.com/), one of the main pillars of our community building is sharing content and information that hopefully developers will find useful.

With that in mind, we thought about introducing a series of "Developer tips" intended for early or junior developers to get some tips from senior developers. A tip could be an experience, suggestion, or practice.

The tips of the first week is here:

"Learn about the business or domain you are developing for. Understanding the bigger picture helps in building more suitable/scalable solutions."

Do you agree? Any tips you want to share? We will publish it in our X and other social accounts :)

    Hey,

Some great tips here - can I also say, as a developer myself my design isn't always the best it can be so be sure to think about that!

Hey Nik, just wanted to drop by and say thanks for sharing this developer tip. Agree. It's not only about coding, but also about building a real business! 🤓

Great idea, Nikolas! Understanding the broader business context truly enhances development. Here's a tip from me: Always document your code—it's a gift to future developers. Looking forward to more helpful tips from your series!

We are not supposed to be just a couple of hands! We need to get involved in the hole concept of the product to be able to provide value. It’s also more rewarding

Absolutely, understanding the broader context beyond code is crucial.

Would also love to tacke more on the optimization tips. Well, currently in React/NextJS apps.

Good idea, I would also suggest a discussion on secure coding practices. Developers often concern themselves with getting the job done so security seems to get ignored until the a security incident occurs.

Great Idea, and indeed, not much attention is given to security and compliance
