TikTok is launching adult-only livestreams

TikTok is raising the age requirement for hosting livestreams to 18. The platform currently allows users with 1K followers who are at least 16 to host livestreams. However, from Nov 23, only adults will be able to use the feature. Creators will be able to use the adult-only tool to target older audiences with age-appropriate content, like comedy routines they'd rather not have kids watch.'
