TikTok has birthed creators who work in tech and vlog about their workday as part of their brand. While these clips garner millions of views, filming restrictions mean workers can't show a lot. Some firms have even warned or fired people for TikToking on the job. However, this 'tech girlie' genre is promoting Big Tech jobs to traditionally underrepresented groups and helping attract applicants.
